Vincent Delguidice

Violence Interrupter

Vincent joined CURYJ in hopes to support young people with resources they need to thrive. Being formerly incarcerated himself, he understands the value of community and is motivated by his lived experiences to assure no one goes through the same.

Prior to joining CURYJ, he worked at Tesla, assisting in the organization of vehicle parts. There, he faced being let go due to his background. An experience that made him realize that his experience set a precedent for judgment. With this, he committed to rising above the label others may cast on him and prevail by giving back. As a violence interrupter, he is able to work with both youth and families who are system and directly impacted. Vincent works with youth at a local high school in mitigating fights and promoting wellness through resource distribution. In the same manner, he supports families in being connected with resources that support their healing.

Outside of his work, Vincent is a huge sports fan and is devoted to the Raiders. He also enjoys being a barber during his free time. If he is not cutting hair, you can spot Vincent doing something adventurous such as hiking, camping, or anything with the outdoors. With his Italian background, he recommends spaghetti and meatballs as the go-to dish.
