Tyrese Boswell is an active community organizer in progress. He also works with re-entry incarcerated individuals since being released. Becoming a fellow with the Dream Beyond Bars (DBB) program Tyrese is influencing his community and using professional networking skills to build his future.
Since reentering the community Tyrese has also taken action with the Black Votes Count Movement and New Community Leadership Foundation, which is San Francisco based.
Tyrese joined CURYJ because he has a natural calling for community organizing and advocacy. Not only has being incarcerated given Tyrese the experience, but it has given him the ability to know what it takes to reach adolescent’s in youth in his community.
