Born and raised in Oakland, CA, Chinasa graduated from Sonoma State University in 2019 with a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Prior to her role at CuryJ, Chinasa served as a case manager with Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) serving justice systems involved young adults. During this role, Chinasa connected youth to services in the community, facilitated legal education workshops and court advocacy. Chinasa’s true passions are Juvenile Justice advocacy, restorative justice practices, and guiding Black and Brown youth to reach their true potential. In her free time, Chinasa loves working out, eating great food and reading science fiction novels.
